Veterans Medical Care
If you served in the active military service and were separated under any condition other than dishonorable, you may qualify for VA health care benefits. Current and former members of the Reserves or National Guard who were called to active duty by a federal order and completed the full period for which they were called or ordered to active duty may be eligible for VA health benefits as well.
Vet Center Program
Vet Centers offer readjustment counseling, which is offered to make a successful transition from military to civilian life or after a traumatic event experienced in the military to include military sexual trauma (MST). Services are provided through community-based counseling centers that offer a wide range of social and psychological services, including professional counseling to eligible Veterans, service members (including those in the National Guard and Reserve components), and their families.
